Vase of Flowers - Stealing from Sewing: Applique'

Handmade Paper Collage (watercolor was used on the jar the flowers are in but everything else is actual handmade paper created in my studio with various color fibers and materials). In applique' you create a drawing and then make a paper pattern of the shapes (which then are cut out of fabric and sewed down). I did the same thing here (from a photo of flowers in a jar vase) and made paper patterns for each petal, leaf, stem, etc, and cut them out of my handmade papers.
