For those who have not seen my funny little series of sketches, each with a snippet of a story, hope they make you smile! They just popped up out of nowhere some months ago when I was trying to do a doodle a day for Jani Franck's course on creativity. :-)
I didn't hear what the rising moon said to the setting sun, but she blushed cromson, and hid her face
Six little fish playing in the garden pond made a new friend today. Tabby Cat was so polite and so interested in each of them that they couldn't help but be flattered. To their delight an invitation came that very night to join Tabby Cat for dinner.... The smallest fish said he had a bad feeling about it, but they shushed him, saying, "You always want to spoil our fun!" and set off for dinner at once.
The flowers were annoyed that THEY had been picked that morning from among their friends out in the garden and could be heard muttering about the small glass vase they were placed in, quite sure that something much more elegant and grand was more suited to them, and, by the way, would they be getting sandwiches and tea and cookies for their troubles....
