Faux Postage for Mixed Media Projects

I love all the little bits of illustration I come across in the paper "stuff" I collect. One way I spotlight these little illustrations is by using my scrapbooking scissor that has the "postage stamp edge" to cut them out. Then I draw a rectangle inside the cut shape to imitate a postage stamp. Next I use bits and pieces of rubber stamps to add the look of "postage." Paper backgrounds complete the look. They are unbelievably fun to make and very simple. I love using them on greeting cards. They are shown here quite large to show the detail - the "stamps" themselves are about 1 1/2"x2 1/2" but could be any size.
